Ma Yau-Sang
Biography
Of the films that he's played in, he seems to blend into the crowd very well and isn't easily noticeable in kung-fu films, but you can tell, that he is definitely villain material. His best picture, without a doubt would have to be Kung Fu Executioner, where he displayed a knack for killing and loved it. Paired with veteran Chen Sing, he got almost every opportunity to kill someone and seemed to enjoy it.
His presence was wasted in the film Kung Fu From Beyond The Grave, where he played nothing more than an errand-boy for Lo Lieh. He definitely had some skills, and it would have been great to actually see him fight Billy Chong instead of always running away from him. This to me is where some directors screw up. Talented people should be able to display that talent, that you hired them for.
He had an excellent (but short) appearance in Eagle Fist with Chi Kuan-Chun and Cheng Kay-Ying. Here he displayed his skill and could have lit up the screen, had he a better role (and more screen-time) in the film. Yet, in Dragon Fist with Jackie Chan he along with Han Ying was given virtually nothing to do besides playing members of a gang and receiving almost no fight-time.
