Biography
He was the youngest member in the Opera School, taught by the late Jim Yuen-Eu. Here, the emphasis is on Yuen, as each student adopted this surname as their own while training there - Yuen Wah, Yuen Mao, and others. That Opera school housed some major talent that also included, Jackie Chan and Samo Hung. There, they were all said to have gone through some of the most strenuous training imaginable, and yet, almost every student who attended that school, was either a star, produced a star, or contributed to the kung-fu genre in some form or fashion. He was said to be the favorite student of sifu Yuen, and was seldom seen because of his age.
His first real hit was in Hell's Wind Staff, where his combination of Comedy and fighting were excellent. He is definitely a gifted Acrobat and his display of skill in that film puts him in with some of the best, including Hsiao Ho and his classmate Yuen Biao. As with most Opera-trained kids, he found work at an early age, landing numerous roles in Shaw Bros' films. He also appeared in such films as Lady With A Sword, Trilogy Of Swordsmanship, and even Golden Harvest's hit None But The Brave, featuring the comeback of former Shaw actress Cheng Pei-Pei. Yet, one of his more compelling performances was in the Shaw Bros’ film Heroes Of The Underground (where he was tortured for spying).

Some of his best acrobatics and agility can be found in the film Daggers 8 taking on the villainous Wilson Tong as a Knife expert. But, my favorite would have to be The Fighting Fool (where he was just that) and the soon to be released Coward Bastard, which many (including myself), have be searching for years. He made several movies for before suffer [rumored] a heart attack in (1981). Though it wasn't fatal, it did force to retire from filmmaking. He was last known, to have had a job in Advertising. Possessing great timing and flair, one thing's for sure, his talents were truly missed, as he was an exceptional performer.
