Biography
This guy is a class act altogether, having appeared a great deal of films and almost always, adding to them. Never giving boring performances and yet, a consummate performer in every sense of the word. For his age (at the time that he was making films), he displayed very good acting and fighting skills. He kind of reminds me of Shek Kien, who was well up in age when he starred in Enter The Dragon, yet, he still managed to have a healthy career in films. His work in films always led to some fine productions as well as some very interesting storylines. He always seemed to add to the value, to each film he was a part of (no matter how small, the role). The Secrets Of Shaolin Kung Fu (with Li I-Min), quickly comes to mind.
More often that not, he'd be working with, director Lee Tso-Nam, who was instrumental in helping to heighten the careers of stars like Wang Tao and Chang Yi - (Fatal Needles, Fatal Fists; Shaolin Invincible Sticks, and Eagle's Claws) - starring both actors. I can't remember him giving a bad performance, as he always stood out in his movie roles. He gave a very good showing in Eagle's Claws as well of most of the work his done. He also stood out in such films as Mission, Kiss and Kill and 2 Dragons Fight Against Tiger, an earlier work, which seemed to capture his expertise as an actor and a fighter.
