Biography
Another scholarly actor, who has been seen in countless kung-fu films. As an actor, his work is mainly that of a Dramatic actor, who doesn't display fighting, but merely acting skills. He was one of a number of people, who began to work behind the camera, as well. He has helmed a few films, as an Assistant Director, the most notable being - Judgement Of The Assassin. I can honestly say, that I can't recall him being in any standout role, other than Dumb Boxer, which gave him the most screen-time I've seen in a movie. I've mostly seen him in the background in a few of Tan Tao-Liang's films like - Revenge Of The Shaolin Master.
He falls in the same category as Wang Chen-Han, who as an actor is a very believable one, but just isn't given enough to do to show his range as an actor. He will pop up in a lot of Taiwanese production, as I think, that was where he did the bulk, of his work. In Tornado Of Pearl River he spent the movie getting beat so much by Miao Tien and his gang, I thought he wasn't going to be able to finish his lines. In Master Of Kung Fu, he was a part of a group of innocent men, who were quickly killed as part of a cover-up. Again, no fighting (from him), just plain acting.
