Biography
Though, he seemingly made the transition to kung-fu star in the excellent The 5 Superfighters as one of disgraced teacher Hau Sau-Seng's students, his skills were just as polished as those of his sister (They came into the business almost around the same time). If you couldn't guess her name by their surname Hui, then just look at the nose, as theirs look just alike - Hui Ying-Hung, a disciple of Liu Chia-Liang and a Shaw Brothers favorite.
He has appeared in the Shaw's obscure hit Gang Master and I caught him playing a Monk along with buddy Hsiao Ho, in the Golden Harvest hit The Iron-Fisted Monk. He toiled in roles that did nothing to elevate his star early on in his career. Films like Bruce Li, The Invincible and Kung Fu Means: Fists, Strikes, & Swords, merely had him playing thugs who would not get noticed (except by a sharp-eyed fan).

Though his sister gained more experience (as a Leading star), that didn't stop him from landing on his own two feet and bring justice to the movie roles he took. I really liked him in the excellent Pom Pom & Hot Hot, where he played the hitman, who can "spit" a bullet in the chamber of his gun (so he can pull off an extra shot). His battle with the late Lam Ching-Ying, really added more bang, to an already excellent movie. A must see.
