Biography
This Jet Li look-a-like doesn't just look like him; he has the skills as well. The youngest of the of an elite group of Peking Opera students including Angela Mao, Chang Yi, Chiang Sheng, and Robert Tai. He reminds me of another of his schoolmates, Li I-Min, who was an excellent Acrobat as well as star performer on the screen. With smooth and crisp techniques, he can be seen showing his skill in tumbling, not to mention his agility and body-control. It would have been great, if he could have hooked-up with a legitimate studio (like Shaw Brothers or Golden Harvest), for much better exposure.
He starred in the action-packed movie 5 Fighters From Shaolin, which starred about (5) of his real-life classmates. Though not a great actor, his skill speaks for itself. In Shaolin Vs Lama he nearly stole the show from Alexander Lo. I think the reason he didn't get to show any acting talent was because, time he appears on the screen, he starts Tumbling (his main skill). If you're lucky enough to catch a performance by him, you will see how truly gifted he is and you won't be disappointed. It's such a shame that his talents were kept confined, to the much smaller roles that he acquired, during his stint in the film business.
