Biography
Having done excellent work as a stuntman doubling for Jet Li, he would also play opposite him in Once Upon A Time In China-2 as the warrior in the white head-dress fighting him on the tables. An excellent martial artist with the speed, skill, and agility to star in a leading role, it is a wonder why we haven't seen him as the main star yet. He speaks fluent Cantonese, Mandarin, and English and is said to have a very good singing voice.
He was the tattooed killer in the supposed remake of Shaw Bros' One-Armed Swordsman - The Blade. In Tsui Hark's American debut, Double Team (with Jean Claude Van Damme), it was said that he didn't really get to show his stuff, because the Muscles from Brussels, didn't want to be upstaged onscreen.
In Once Upon A Time In China (parts 4 & 5), he played along side another of Jet Li's stunt doubles, the very capable Zhao Wen-Zhou (also the hero in The Blade). Then he starred in Once Upon A Time In China & America, which means that his has starred in more parts of this series than both Jet and Zhao. Only time will tell if this skilled Wu-Shu performer will get his chance to really shine. He shared a Golden Horse (Oscar) with Liu Chia-Liang and Tung Wei, for Choreography on the film - 7 Swords.
