Biography
Coming from an acting family, he specialized in villain roles and has had a lengthy career. A personal friend of Jackie Chan, he can be seen helping Chan with choreography duties on the film 36 Crazy Fists. He has had a long run a Shaw studios often working with (and against) Fu Sheng in some of heated battles. Fu Sheng tells him in Heroes 2 - "Don't like you, so go away". Which seemed to be the sentiment of most views of the 70's, the hated his guts (which means his acting was "On the money").
Men feared him for his cunning and deceptive ways, women fear him (more) because, he can be found raping women, which is probably why most people refer to him as, The Rapist. His father was Feng Fang, the old man with the twisted mouth in The Young Master (whom he also doubled for), have appear in a number of films together. He started playing villains as a teenager in Black & White Cantonese films, slowly working his way up the ladder of villains at Shaw Brothers.
He later worked with Samo Hung and Jackie at Golden Harvest, where he would enhance his resume and his skills. It was said that he was one of the few elite actors who can keep up with Jackie. He gave an excellent showing as the villainous Banker who hid his deadly Mantis Fist in Warriors 2. Outside of being a highly paid Choreography (Crazy Couple, South Shaolin Master-2), he would also venture into directing films. When it comes to villainous portrayals (of any kind) it’s hard, not to have him on your list of favorites.
