Biography
When you impersonate someone, you should either do a very good job or leave it alone. Now, here's a guy, who doesn't even look like Bruce Lee and the only things that they had in common, were a pair of sunglasses and a yellow jumpsuit. It wasn't his fault -- chalk that up to greedy filmmakers trying to make a quick buck (and capitalize on the trend, at the time). When he's being himself, he has so much more to offer and pretty good as a martial artist to boot. They should have just concentrated (more) on his own abilities, as they would have found a very capable martial-artist.
In The Blooded Treasury Fight, he did well and someone should have told him that, maybe it would have stirred him away from the impersonations and into a bigger career. He had (good) kicks, (decent) hand speed, and with a little work on his movement (and acting), he could have been another rising star, during the 70's. Thinking back, I think his impersonation of Bruce Lee, was one of the worst. He seemed like he was trying to impersonate Bruce Le.He reminds me of a smaller version of Sonny Chiba (facial expressions, included) -- as he looked like he was putting some (serious) force behind each blow.

Films like Return Of The Master Killer, made him look even better, than some of his impersonation roles. I thought he should've had a bigger in Mantis Combat and he was pretty good going up against Alexander Lo in The Super Ninja (they could have done without those special-effects, of having him disappearing, instead of fighting). He should have tried to do more films like Stranger From Shaolin, where he got to display his skill in a better fashion. A good friend of Wang Jang-Li and Dragon Lee -- it would have been interesting, to see a Korean film version of The 5 Deadly Venoms (also featuring Cassanova Wong, Whang In-Sik, and Kwon Yung-Moon.
