Biography
This veteran silly man, is known to be a Clown onscreen (and off), and has been around long enough to have made a name for himself (and his work). Usually, working with friend Samo Hung, he's a laugh-riot and almost a carbon copy of prankster Wong Yu, in that he'll do anything to keep from fighting. Remember, I said almost, as this guy does not waste his time fighting, when he can con his way out of nearly, everything he gets himself into. Though, he's not a calibre fighter, his acting is always pretty good (borderline eccentric).
His star started rising with the release of the of My Lucky Stars, which opened American doors for friend Michiko Nishiwaki, and others, that were not well-known in the States. He had a very good showing in The Hitman with Jet Li, and up to his old tricks. He has become, an accomplished Director of modern day films. He first started directing earlier kung-fu films such as The Bloody Tattoo and The Deadly Challenger, both starring David Chiang and Hsu Hsao-Chang.

He was a professional Soccer player, where rumor has it, Liu Chia-Liang asked him about becoming a stuntman. He was supposedly a co-writer (unaccredited) of the film 36th Chamber Of Shaolin (Master Killer) and has helped (behind the scenes) on a number of films. How much input he contributed to that film is unknown, but, apparently his friendship with Samo proved to be endearing, as he, eventually, became a star through their association. He is one of a handful of stars, who still find a number of jobs, in films today.
