Biography
I, first, remember him playing the villain in the Chan Wei-Man classic, The Chinese Mack. His expertise with the Nunchakus fascinated me, because it was the first time I'd ever seen someone, twirl them around their hand like that. He seemed to go crazy when Hu Chin scratched his face, as he was trying to have his way with her in bed. When she tried to kill him, you'd almost think you were watching San Kuai at work. The character he played, didin’t care who he had to kill (man or woman), as he did it, without thought or conviction.
He seemed very focused (when he fought) and he fared just as well, in the Angela Mao cult-classic Deadly China Doll, though his part was much shorter than I would have liked. He would appear again with Nan Kung-Hsun, in the obscure (but interesting) Gambling For Head. I would have thought, that he could've had a much longer career in kung-fu films, had he capitalized on his popularity from these roles. He proved to be a decent fighter and he had the type of intensity, to remain in high demand as a villain. Yet, with his evil looks, he could hardly play anything else.
