Biography
Though, he was very noticable as one of the members of the "White Tiger" gang in The Chinatown Kid, he didn't get a chance to shine, until Daredevils Of Kung Fu, working as one of Wang Li's bodyguards. A Tae Kwon Do expert, he was the chief instructor of one of the largest Tae Kwon Do school, in Hong Kong. He was said to have taken after superstar Jimmy Wang-Yu, in that he liked to get into fights off-screen, as well.
Yet, as talented as he is, he was never given roles that would exploit these talents. I mean, why didn't they ever give him a chance to really use those feet? He's even fought against Lo Mang in Daredevils Of Kung Fu (undoubtedly his best showing) and against Sun Chien in The Destroyers, but he's never had a (really) standout role, in which he could show the massses, just what he was capable of doing. This, was one of the problems of being a part of an ensemble cast, you have so many people and seemingly not enough fight-times to go around, so that everyone is shown to the best of their abilities.
In Spearmen Of Death, he went against Chiang Sheng, saying that the teacher pointed at Lu Feng, before he died and selected him as their new chief and not Venom's front-man Kuo Chui. He normally can be seen in the background as a henchman in most of their film. He, also, did some good work in the film Killer Army, which also showcased the earlier talents of Chin Hsiao-Hao, who would go on to bigger and better parts, like Masked Avengers and 2 Champions Of Shaolin. He has appeared of a few movies after the kung-fu genre died down, but nothing to compare to his Venom days.
