Biography
Another American, who was given the chance to enjoy success, playing a villain in kung-fu films, during the late 70's and early 80's. He actually least showed better movement than most of his American cohorts and that was probably because of his friendship with leg-master Wang Jang-Li, whom he used to take lessons from and (ironically) all of his film roles, have been with. He, undoubtedly had learned a lot from his association with Wang and became one of his best friends in the film business.
He would go on to become a student of Wang's and from the looks of his martial-arts skills, he was a very attentive student. He's appeared in some classics such as Snake In The Eagle's Shadow, battling Jackie Chan and in Snuff-Bottle Connection with John Liu, he played a mad Russian. He co-wrote and produced the film No Retreat, No Surrender-2, but the best thing he's had his name attached to, seemed to be Tower Of Death (aka Game of Death-2). Here he got to show that he did have some skills and actually looked pretty good displaying them.
Being in the right place at the right time definitely paid off for him, because as he got to know the business (starring in films didn't hurt either), he would later work for the company that gave him his worldwide exposure - Seasonal Films for the "Marketing and Distribution" of their films. Had he changed his mind, I'm sure that he could have expanded his (villainous) roles in a number of productions, during the height of the genre.
