Wong Wing-Sun

Biography
One of a handful of actors, who worked exclusively with Jimmy Wang-Yu, during many high-points (good films) of his career. Another actor, with a face that seems to portray pure evil, even when he's not trying to. Best remember from the film The Chinese Professionals, as the Indian fighter (Yoga Toga-Sum), who could make his arms, extend several feet from his body. The young man that he was choking, was none other than Wang Li, who would go on to bigger things, appearing with The Venoms.
He can be as evil as he wants to be (and he usually is), often, getting the chance to display his villainous side in such films as Iron Swallow, The Tongfather, and Return Of The Chinese Boxer, respectfully. His part in the movie Fearless Young Boxer fighting against Chai Kai, was short (but sweet), as was his fight in the excellent 60 Second Assassin. In the film, he waited on "Minute Fong" - (all his fights last just 1-minute), only to find out, that he had already gotten pass his guards and was sitting right next to him.
He got to play the lead villain, in the film 18 Weapons Of Kung Fu, featuring Lee Hai-Shing (an excellent acrobat) in his best role to date. Of the films that I've seen him in, he uses pretty good technique and does try to be very convincing in his portrayals (and not just go through the motions, as so many actors do). The right film roles, could have kept him working for years, but, as he 80's saw many careers come to an end, the major roles (often) went to "Up-and-coming" actors (whether they had adequate skill or not). Yet, at the height of the genre, he was one of the most dependable (and underrated) fighters in films.
