Biography
Though she looks delicate, in her movies, she's always one of the first to want to fight. She gathered up troops to go after Chang Yi in Fatal Needles, Fatal Fists. And though she would have gotten her butt kicked, she went anyway and fought to win. In Eagle's Claws she had a few small fight scenes, which didn't really do her any justice. Her role in Shaolin Iron Claws Shaolin Devil, Shaolin Angel wasn't enough to make her a household name.
Angela Mao left some very big "Kung-fu Slippers" to fill, but actresses still kept trying and though she wasn't up to par (fighting-wise), she would still try to pull off some interesting fight scenes. Her role in Fearless Young Boxer was kind of boring until she started fighting. I guess because the director wanted to focus more on her face (beauty) than her fists (fighting), which is always a shame, because if you already look good, a good fight scene can only make you look better.
