Biography
Another attractive kung-fu fighting female, who has starred in a few action film with very good results. With a combination of skills and beauty, she could have been in line for Superstardom, had she worked harder to get better action roles, a la, Princess Madam. I really like her in the Lee Tso-Nam directed action-packed film Beauty Investigators, where she showed the type of skill that could have enhanced her career, had she starred in more roles like this.
She looked like she could fight better than most men who've graced the silver screen before her, but once again, it came from good coaching. She, like most newcomers, learned martial -arts "Screen-fighting", to appear as though they just stepped out of the Dojo. Look at her in Midnight Angels and Dreaming The Reality; some of her best fights have been against Yukari Oshima, who has also gained a lot of steam as an action star.
Ballet training helped her in the beginning, but as with most female action stars, she needs someone to push her to the edge, like Samo Hung did it for Joyce Godenzi in She Shoots Straight and the results can be about the same. With the right guidance, she could have turned out to be an excellent addition to the "Female Fighters" category, but she opted for more Modern roles that really didn't have much to do with fighting.
