Biography
Whether he's playing the uncle or a beggar, you can rest assure he'll be playing him well. Started out as an extra in Independent productions and later became a Shaw Bros' contract player in the late 60's and his performances can be off the wall. Playing old women and teachers disguised as bums, he usually likes to fight with something in his hands most often a pipe or a stick.
He has appeared in some classic kung-fu movies, and though he's not what most would consider star material, when he's in rare form, he can add spice to almost any picture i.e., Adventures For Imperial Treasures or the The 5 Superfighters or he can fade into the background like a house plant. You may find him in films with just about any of kung-fu’s finest stars like Jimmy Wang-Yu in Shogun's Saints and The Royal Fists to Wen Chiang-Long in Kung Fu Rebels.

I think I first noticed him when I saw him in Big Boss Of Shanghai with Chen Kuan-Tai, where he played the ambitious (and double-crossing) aide who wanted to help control the docks. Many fans may remember him as the priest who knew where Fong Sai-Yu's (Fu Sheng) weak point was in the film Disciples Of Death and patiently waited kill him. He would later teach the hot-headed Fu Sheng kung-fu, in the very underrated, Demon Fists Of Kung Fu.
