Biography
A favorite of director King Hu's, he's appeared in a number of his films - The Fate Of Lee Khan, The Valiant Ones, and Raining In The Mountains. A skilled acrobat, he went to school with the likes of Jackie Chan, and Samo Hung. His skill, far exceeded his weighty appearance, as he was, actually, one of the first students of sifu Jim Yuen-Eu's, to find work as a stuntman/actor. He's appeared in a number of Shaw Bros' films, such as, The Young Avenger , The Casino, The Thunderbolt Fist, and Vengeance Is A Golden Blade.
Like so many others, he made the switch to Golden Harvest studios, where he had many noticable cameos, in such classics as Fists Of Fury, The Chinese Connection, and (later) as one of the guards that Bolo kills in Enter The Dragon (he sat on his back and snapped his neck). His performance in Budo Wing was hysterical, as he gave us a look at what he was capable of, as a Comedic actor. In Little Mad Guy (his best role to date), he proved that he could handle a villain like Tiger Yang, in believable fashion.

He starred in the "Modern Action" hit Tiger Cage, and has since worked as a Producer. He produced the film Painted Faces, which won an award for friend Samo Hung, portraying an Opera-school teacher (much like their own). It gave the world a glimse, of what their own childhood was like and what they had to endure as kids (growing up in a Peking Opera school). The film was a hit and has enjoyed critical acclaim.
