Biography
First, introduced to the masses in 2 Champion Of Death, he actually had parts in earlier Venoms work such as Rebel Intruders (as a Spearman). His excellent timing (coming along, right when the group was about to go into transition), helped to garner him, some very plum roles. Like others, he seemed to fit right in with the Venom crew (until they turned up the pace). He really got to show his various talents, in I'll Finally Knock You Down, Dad with Chen Kuan-Tai, playing his father.
This movie also reminded me too much of "action-star-in-the-making" Donnie Yen's Drunken Tai-Chi, right down to the "Breakdancing" sequence (and that they were both released in the same year). He found plenty of work at Shaw Brothers and was one of their faces to watch. After leaving the studio, he still found work, appearing in some of the '90's biggest hits. Battling Jet Li, in Fist Of Legends, his skills looked as crisp as Li's. He’s the brother of Chin Kar-Lok (from Operation Scorpio), who played Liu Chia-Liang's student.

His skills, just seem to improve with each film. I haven't seen him in any films, where he didn't shine or put in a good performance. He had a good showing in Fast Fingers with Lo Mang -- but, he seems better suited for films, where his acting and his weaponry skills were tested (10 Tigers From Kwangtung and Masked Avengers). After, over (30) years in the business, he is still going strong and making films, til this day.
