Biography
Another student of Hong Kong's famous sifu Jim Yuen-Eu, teacher of such students as - Jackie Chan, Samo Hung, Yuen Biao, and others, he toiled as a stuntman (just like his classmates), before making it big. He directed and choreographed Tsui Hark's 4th and 5th parts of an excellent series that actually helped to revitalized kung-fu films in the 90's - Once Upon A Time In China.
The series starred Zhao Wen-Zhou, who replaced Jet Li as Wong Fei-Hung, after Li and Hark had a falling out. Most thought that the series was dead, but he proved them wrong. I was most impressive with him in Kid With A Tattoo (Claws of the Eagle) as silly man Wong Yu's teacher who taught him in private. He went up against fellow classmate Yuen Wah, who did some excellent Spear work in the film. Though, often in the background, he's done excellent work, in just about everything, he's been a part of.

He was an integral part of Tang Chia's camp, which gave us some excellent fight-filled action, in numerous films. Not only behind the camera, he could be seen in such films as, To Kill A Mastermind, Rendezvous With Death, and Shaolin Prince. It seems that, just about everybody from their Opera School, has found success, working in the film industry, as each has displayed tremendous skill and talent, in their own right. He still works in films today, mostly directing and choreography work.
