Biography
Here's a guy who, though he had an early start, he never really made a dent kung-fu in films. I remembered him (mostly) from the smash hit, Chinese Hercules. Yang Sze (Hercules), pretended to give him a cup of tea, only to crack his skull with his own version of the "Head-Crusher". In the Golden Harvest film The Shaolin Boxers, he played a kung-fu teacher, who had to show a little of his skill. He did just that, (showed little, in the way of skills).
Again, we see someone who seemed to be thrown into the world of these films, because of mere acting ability. Though he was a decent actor, he seemed somewhat out of place in our world of Backfists & Spin-kicks. He received more praise for the Comedy 2 Omniscient Men, than any martial-arts film he's ever done. It was apparent, that Comedy, was the area that he excelled in. The films, 2 Conmen and it's sequel, Carry On Conmen, brought his true gifts, to the forefront.
