Biography
This actor's been around for a long time, doing good work with Golden Harvest as he slowly made a name for himself. He's even worked at Shaw Bros' briefly, appearing in director Chang Cheh's top-notched historical hit, The Deadly Duo. Though he looks like he can fight, it's usually best when he doesn't. In the Swordplay film The Hurricane, he showed some skill, but it would be later on that he'd find his calling (as a Director).
The underrated, but highly effective The Phantom Killer, was directed by him (much to my amazement) and he would later go on to appear in mostly Comedies. I don't know why he didn't stick to the kung-fu format, because it seemed that he could have had a lengthy career directing them. Though he still acts, it is mostly behind the camera that you'll find him these days.
