Biography
This Hapkido expert was the Senior instructor to master-villain Whang In-Sik (whom he also taught), and the classmate of Master Bong Soo-Han of Billy Jack fame. But, perhaps his greatest student (by way of movies) would have to be Angela Mao. He was so impressed with how quickly she learned his art, that he gave her an "Honorary" 2nd Degree Black Belt. He was the one who arranged for Whang to appear in the film Bruce Lee & I, in which he (also) had a small role (holding him in the air with a Staff).
His friendship with Bruce Lee led to him being cast in the classic Game Of Death. It was said that he experienced Bruce actually hitting him at times, something that also, annoyed Shek Kein, as he too, was on the receiving end, while filming Enter The Dragon. He was also impressive in The Dragon Tamers, going up against Carter Wong and in Hapkido, his role mirrored real-life as the teacher of Mao, Whang, and Samo Hung.

Golden Harvest director Huang Feng had Mao, Samo, Chang Yi, Wilson Tong, and others go through about (4) months of extensive training at his school. He wanted the true art of Hapkido to be shown and not a fake version, as some martial-arts were depicted in movies. Yet, in the roles that he was featured, he always put on an excellent display on skill. It's apparent, that without his instruction, we wouldn't have come to know the finer points of the Korean art of Hapkido.
