Biography

A former Wu-Shu Champion (3 years in a row), first caught my eye being bad in the excellent Holy Robe Of The Shaolin Temple. He has the skills to go far, like his younger martial-arts brother Jet Li; (with whom he appeared with in My Father Is A Hero), he was a hot commodity in Hong Kong. At one time he was the highest paid Choreographer in China, yet his busy schedule included, making big bucks as a Model.

On the Kung-fu front, he literally upstaged Donnie Yen (no easy feat) in the 90's classic Iron Monkey. I thought, he was totally wasted, in the fantasy hit The Storm Riders, with Sonny Chiba, where all he really got to do was die. With a talent like this, you should try to see as much as you possibly can of him, as he was [definitely] a face to watch.
