Biography
Another contract player who appears in mainly Taiwanese films, especially those featuring Jimmy Wang Yu. He reminds me of Tien Yeh (who's usually fighting him or working for him), in that he likes to sit back and let his gang teach you a lesson or two. Not a powerful presence on the screen, but one who will not fight you alone. He falls in that villains category where they are more sinister than they are capable of breaking your back (themselves) - Chiang Nan, Li Yun-Chung, and Chu Mu are good examples of this.
He had a good showing in a few kung fu movies, but that soon faded, since he's not the type of fighter who would make the hair on the back of your neck stand up if you two were to meet for a duel. He'd probably ask you for some spare change and if you refused, he might utter the words - "Sort him out" and take all your money. Most movies he's played he is usually the teacher, police inspector, or gangland-style boss. Outside of Jimmy Wang-Yu, he can usually be found, in films with Chen Sing, Lung Fei, and Shan Mao. Fearless Fighters and The Chinese Boxer were (2) films, where I can recall him, trying to fight, as most of his films, find his testing is acting chops.
