Biography
Though she's been around for a while appearing in "Swordplay" films, I first saw her in The Screaming Tiger, with Jimmy Wang Yu. She was the fierce, rebellious leader of a gang of pickpocket children. She looked very impressive taking on Lung Fei, until he turned it up a notch. She has play in a few movies with Tien Peng (who she fights like to me); her blows are Quick-and-to-the-point. My favorite being the action-packed, Blood On The Sun.
Never in the calibre of Polly Shang-Kuan, she could hold her own against about (20) bad guys without having her makeup smear. Never one for the big scenes, most of her fighting movements seemed to have been kept to "Straight punch-front kick-and chop" movements. Even when appearing in the obscure cult-classic Fearless Fighters, she kept the action flowing, but not up to the standard or most kung-fu fans, as that movie had too many "Special Effects" (flying, and so on).
