Biography
If you view any of the films she's been in, you will notice that one thing stands out - her excellent Kicks and Flexibility. Most may remember her from the Drunken Master, where Jackie Chan got a chance to see her footwork first hand, as she displayed excellent agility and balance. In Lacky & The Lady Tiger, she went up against screen-villain Wang Jang-Li, matching him "Kick-for-Kick" (until he turned up the juice). She was in her 50's, taking a page from Shek Kein, who was (60) years old when he made Enter The Dragon.
In Dance Of The Drunken Mantis, she went up against Yuen Kwei, displaying technique and timing, usually seen in people half her age. Though, I can't recall seeing her in normal acting roles, it's probably for the best, as her real talents, would have been totally wasted in roles like that. For her age, she had maintained a level of proficiency, which leads me to believe, that she was Peking Opera trained, as a child.
