Biography
This Muscleman can be seen in countless kung-fu films, where for some strange reason they like to use him for a - Punching Bag. I can't recall him being in any standout performances, nor can I recall him displaying any outstanding skills. Mostly used for comic relief, the only time I've ever seen him in anything that had me on the edge of my seat was when Chen Kuan-Tai was cutting him down to size in the interesting Shaw classic, Killer Constable. Though, I'm sure he has some kung-fu skills, you'd never know it from the roles he played in.
Nowhere near the same class as veteran Shaw muscleman Lo Mang, who [actually] puts his muscles to use in various fighting roles. He chooses to be the butt of jokes usually leading to some outlandish and seemingly ridiculous comedy escapades. Too bad, because given his size and punishment that he takes you would think that he would make a formidable opponent for just about any screen fighter. He was totally wasted Game Of Death-2 (Tower Of Death) and in the excellent Hell's Wind Staff, where he was just part of a crowd, hanging around Wang Jang-Li, waiting to see who he was going to kill next.
