If this guy had half the skills of his brother, he would have been a major star. His brother? The Immortal Fu Sheng, one of Shaw Bros' most charismatic and beloved stars. Having appeared with his brother in the humorous, but excellent The Treasure Hunters, he won a Golden Horse (Oscar) for "Best Male Newcomer" in 1981, which was his first movie role (his brother won "Best Male Performance" in the same movie).
Though his does have skills (he is said to have been the better martial-artist in the family), he would only be compared to his more famous brother throughout his life. He starred in 8 Diagram Pole Fighters, where only his brother and Gordon Liu survived an onslaught battle beautifully choreographed by Liu Chia-Liang. His forte was Comedy and it was said that Fu Sheng was going to devote his career strictly to comedy after the success of The Treasure Hunters) and he appeared destined for stardom.

The death of his brother, curtailed the all dreams he had for a real future in films. Fu Sheng was considered a Superstar, so he had a hard act to live up to. He was said to have been driving the car on that fatal day, with his brother in the passenger seat and fellow actor Wong Yu in the backseat. When they crashed, the majority of the impact was sustained on the passenger side. Though he didn't sustain life-threatening injuries in the crash, it seemed for all practical purposes, his career died with the death of his brother.
