An overseas Chinese was also a Thai kickboxing champion, he caught the eye of Jackie Chan who employed him as his personal bodyguard. Jackie also gave him the opportunity to star in Drunken Master-2, the sequel to one of his most famous films. With the popularity of this film, he gained a legion of fans with his extraordinary kicking ability. He also stars with Yuen Biao in the entertaining Circus Kids. 


He also starred with Jackie again in the movie Thunderbolt, an Auto-racing film with some kung-fu thrown in. With excellent flexibility he is capable of some outstanding kicks but for some strange reason, in Drunken Master-2 they seem to want to over-exploit this with the use of wires. Not falling in the category of Tan Tao-Liang or Wang Jang-Li, he has yet to prove himself to hardcore kung-fu fans. Hopefully, in the future, he will be given a starring role where his kicking talents can really be showcased (as well as his acting ability).
