Biography
When you come from a family of Kung-fu Geniuses, it's only a matter of time before your real talents are discovered. Often going under the stage-name - Liu Chia Yung Jr, he is not the son of Liu Chia-Yung, but his nephew. The same with Liu Chia-Liang and former apprentice Yuen Te, a lot of people (myself included) use to think that they were Father and Son, as they do favor each other, especially in the Shaw hit My Young Auntie. He has played in some pretty impressive films and has displayed skills worthy of Leading Man status.
His cameo in Bruce Li, The Invincible, wielding the "Butterfly Swords" against Huo Hsing (Chen Sing in disguise) was short, but good. Yet, in films like Dragon Claws and awesome Fearless Duo, he really got to shine, going up against everyone's favorite villain, Wang Jang-Li. Another favorite of mine, is the excellent blend of comedy and action of The Gold Hunters, with the always ruthless Wilson Tong and the villainous Chu Te-Hu. His performance in Shaolin Disciple, showed us he could handle lead parts well, yet, he never capitalized of this as much as he could (should) have, with an array of film roles.

A number of his films, have had elements from a number of other films, as if they took all these elements, to make one film. The film, Tigress Of Shaolin - gave him ample time to display he gifts as a martial-artist in his own right. He seemed to be more poised for the Comedy department, more so than his siblings, as most oof the films he's done, had a great deal of comedy in them. As if he doesn't have enough pressure in his life, the fate of his family's kung-fu lineage may lie in his hands someday (unless he has a son) as an exponent of Hung Fist, going all the way back to founder - Wong Fei-Hung. He (now) teaches kung-fu full-time.
