Biography
Shaw Bros' was churning out actors by the hundreds and here's another face you can add to the assembly line of stars. Not great on talent, he can be seen in few movies where he just seems like he's glad to be working. Mostly lending his acting talents to Dramatic roles, he never quite fit into the kung-fu scheme of things. He seemed more content to appear in various costumed dramas, only taking roles in kung-fu films if directors cast him in them. His part in the film, Ode To Gallantry, had no substance at all. He looked like he was about to fight, but, had no major scenes to think of.
Usually, the friend of the Hero or just another face in the crowd, he hasn't really stood out in anything except Master Killer and it's sequel Return Of The Master Killer (both featuring Gordon Liu). Outside of the film The Romantic Scholar and a small part in Little Heroes Of The Shaolin Temple, I haven't seen him in much (though I do know he's played in numerous films for Shaw Bros'). Never the one to fight, but always the one needing protection, he shows us why, it was so important back then, to enroll in one of the many Martial-arts Classes, that Shaw Bros' offered. He should have invested in some Night classes, as well.
