Biography
When I used to see her onscreen, I used to think that she was such a Tramp -- but (later) I realized, that she was just doing an excellent job (playing one). In reality, she was a very good actress, who has put in some fine performances in films like The Chinese Godfather and The Chinese Mack (I saw them as a “Double-feature” at the theater as a kid). She's been in bed with Chan Wai-Man a few times, Tan Tao-Liang, Bruce Liang and countless others (all onscreen, of course).
Back in the early 70's, she was one of the highest paid actresses in Asian Cinema, for her roles in "Sexploitation" type costume-dramas (where she reiged supreme), as well as kung-fu films. She got married in real life July 19th, 1975 and was said to be an excellent "Mahjong" player. Undoubtedly, one of the most attractive females of 70's Asian movies, she become very popular almost overnight. Most seem to think, that just because the women had pretty faces, that all they were good for was sex scenes. Somewhere along the way, this sexy actress proved them wrong, as she went on to produce films (as well as, starring in them).

Though, not a true martial-artist, she has displayed kung-fu skills in movies such as Dreaming Fists, With Slender Hands and Win Them All. She's not the type of talent you put in a kung-fu setting (without a talented name, to handle the action) but she was the type of actress to sell tickets back then (as she had a loyal following). She was very close to the late (great) director Li Han-Hsiang (her Godfather), who was instrumental in discovering her and making her a star. She appeared in more films for him, than any other director and scored numerous hit under his guidance. She had a website online, but it’s no longer there [but] there’s very little her fans will ever forget her face (or her talents).
