Biography
You can always find this guy in the background, just waiting to crack you upside the head. He's in just about everything Wang Tao has done and almost everything else. Though, he can play a decent villain, he is usually no match for a hero, with more than exceptional skills. He's one of those villains who (often) ends up, having to run back to the boss "disgraced & humiliated" by having gotten his butt kicked. His villainous skills were kind of wasted in Fatal Needles, Fatal Fists and Eagle's Claws, as he didn't really get any serious fight-time.
This guy needs something to do; because sometimes he just stands around so long, you'd think he was a cameraman. You could call him a "Meat-tenderizer" - as he's not one to handle you all by himself (as he usually works in groups). This way, he hopes to wear you down, so the main villain can come in and finish you off. He falls in the category of "2nd-Class" villain, not much on star-power, but definitely needed to spice up those fight scenes.
Some of his bigger scenes were Thundering Mantis and The Tongfather. He was skillful enough, to be given the types of roles that could have benefited, from those skills. He (like Ma Cheung), was often the butt of jokes (literally). As he was either having someone Fart in his face or giving him a laxative - sending him running around, holding his ass-cheeks together. He’s never had a starring role, in any of the films I've seen him in (but) he's just as entertaining, in what he's contributed.
