Biography
Raymond Chow did him a great injustice, when he cut him out of the Original version of the long-awaited release of Game Of Death with Bruce Lee. Initially, he was one of the fighters who went to the Pagoda, trying to get to the top (James Tien was another one). All of this is now out in the documentary Bruce Lee: A Warrior's Journey. While, only (21) minutes of footage was used for the 1978 release and it was all Bruce Lee.
As a fighter, he's show he can give as well as he can take, but I can't recall seeing him up against very stiff competition, unless you count Huang Yuan Sheng, as such. He has appeared in a number of films, where he didn't really do much, often, as of the "heavies" (villains). One of his better roles, was in the film - Legend Of The Living Corspe, where he played a Manchu official. During the course of his film career, many of the roles he received, never quite did him justice (as a performer). He died not too long after Lee did in the mid 70's, of a brain hemorrhage.
