Biography
Another stuntman, who was selected an extra from over (200) hopefuls in Taiwan to travel to Hong Kong to work at Shaw studios for Chang Cheh. A student of the "Ta Peng Opera School" in Taiwan, he was friends with Lu Feng, Chiang Sheng, and Kuo Chui before he ever got to work at the studio. He was a gifted athlete (check him out at the beginning of 18 Weapons Of Kung Fu), who toiled in roles (in Taiwan), before finding success in Hong Kong. Watching him in action, you'd almost swear, that he was Kuo Chui's double, as his skill seemed almost identical.
His roles in Northern Kicks and Southern Blows and Thundering Mantis, only seemed to show us a portion of his talent. He was a multi-talent performer, whose skills (mostly) made the stars around him, look even better. Excellent with weapons, he's one of those faces who could possibly handled a heroic role in an Independent production, but was overshadowed by all of the top Shaw Bros' talent at the time he signed with Chang. Yet, if watch him perform, you can tell that he had a high-level of skill and could hold his own with any of Chang's stuntmen

He joined the studio, when the group (Venoms), were going through a transition period, which only helped him secure a position on the team. His performance in The Masked Avengers and Brave Archer-3, let fans see that he was in the same league as the other members of the group. By being cast in villainous roles, this gave him more opportunity to display everything from Acrobatics to his weaponry skills. This helped him (later) secure heroic roles in House Of Traps and Super Ninjas. He was also a respected Choreographer and opera performer, who used to still goes on stage to perform when his busy schedule permitted.
