Biography
Rumored to have been discovered by Samo Hung, this Korean dynamo's legs put most put most actors hands to shame. Also known as Ca Sa-Fa, he's been in numerous films and even his small cameo roles can leave most breathless. Tower Of Death was a good example of this. Pitted against fellow Korean-kicker Kim Tai-Chung, his kicks seemed to explode across the screen. To me, he would have made a more formidable opponent than Li Hai-Sheng at the end of the film. Definitely, the best "Spin-kicker" in the business, in Duel Of The 7 Tigers we see him pull off about (14) Spin-kicks in a row.
He could spin like a Ballerina and was just as nimble on his feet, yet, in The Master Strikes; he took to the air, striking in (4) different directions before landing. He was one of the most skillful leg-fighters in the kung-fu genre, giving more credence that Koreans are, undoubtedly, the best kickers in the world. In the film Fearless Young Boxer, he gave one of the best performances of his life. The vast combinations of kicking techniques he displayed in this film was staggering. I liked the ending of the film best (the warehouse scene was excellent), as you have to wonder how Peter Chen was ever going to beat him.

He really added spice to Story Of Drunken Master with Simon Yuen and Yang Pan-Pan. Yet, the film The Master Killers gave us a chance to see him playing the "Good Guy" for a change, working with master villain Kao Fei and the late Yuan Lung. This was another chance to see some fine legwork in action. While fans today, still admire his work in the film Warriors 2, playing a Wing Chun student, who kicked more than he punched. With the emergence of Modern films, he (like a lot of older actors) started working behind the scenes. He now produces films in Korea.
