Biography
As a youngster, he took classes in Peking Opera from renowned teacher Jim Yuen. He was the man responsible for teaching the likes of some of Hong Kong's most elite performers. Some of his classmates were - Jackie Chan, Samo Hung, Yuen Biao, Yuen Kwei and a host of others. He performed the somersaults in Enter The Dragon (as Bruce Lee's stunt-double) as well as having another part in the film. He would go on to be a stunt-double for both Ti Lung and Lo Lieh (sometimes in the same film).
Touted as being the best acrobat out of his classmates and also having the best timing of the bunch, he was a natural stand out. In The Chinese Connection, he wanted Bruce to get down on his hands and knees to act like a dog and got to see, just how fast a Lee hook punch could fly. He's done excellent work at both Shaw Bros' and Golden Harvest studios as one of the best stuntmen in the business. He's excellent with weapons; he can handle some of the best in the genre when it comes to fighting, acting, or acrobatics.

He's given excellent performances in Eastern Condors, The Iceman Cometh, and Super Cop, while a lot of his earlier work made others look good onscreen, as you probably didn't even notice him under the make-up. I, personally, liked his work in such films as Kid With A Tattoo (battling Wang Lung-Wei and classmate Yuen Bing) and smaller roles like The Kung Fu Instructor, Fist Of The Double K, and None But The Brave. His acting in every picture that I've seen him in has gotten better each time. He would go on to win a Golden Horse (Oscar) for his role win the film Kung Fu Hustle ???
