Cynthia Khan
(Yeung Lai-Ching)

Biography
She filled in the void, with the brief retirement of Michelle Khan-Yeoh, and with Cynthia Rothrock going back to the States to make a name for herself. So she became Cynthia (minus the Rothrock) and Khan (minus the Michelle). But nowhere is she minus the skill of her predecessors, because, when I saw her in the "slam-bang" action film In The Line Of Duty-3, I thought she'd definitely be going places, as she was a face to watch. She had the combination of "Beauty & Brawn" that made for a great (female) action star.
This trained dancer, said the only things she had a tough time learning was, "Reacting to getting hit and falling" - as called for in the scripts. She currently would like to pursue more mainstream acting roles, as opposed to all the "Kicking and Punching" - but has to realize that, this is where her fame really lies. Yet, films like Deadend Of The Besiegers, Madame City Hunter, and the excellent Blade Of Fury, gave her some of her better roles. As she is still making films, we never know, her best days may still lie ahead of her.
