Biography
More of an actress [per se] than a fighter, she never crossed that fine line into Star-status. She took a backseat to Yang Pan-Pan in 2 Wondrous Tigers, and just about everyone else in the fight-fest Green Jade Statuette, which featured an All-Star cast. Seems that she would rather play roles that capitalized on her beauty than her fighting skills. Her talents were wasted, in the film Challenge Of The Dragon, along side Chan Wai-Man and few fight scenes in the slow moving The Dragon, The Lizard, & The Boxer.
Though she seemed out of place in Green Jade Statuette, she was vital to the storyline; otherwise, you would have never missed her. She just didn't have what it took to become a full-fledged Kung Fu Queen, namely, exposure and fighting skills. She could've learned a lot from her little brother, Meng Hoi. I did enjoy her in Land Of The Brave, but I thought her part was too short. She made up for it, with her part in Invincible Super Guy, playing Lung Fei's villainous sister, fighting with Double Fans.
