If the "Liu Brothers" were #1 at Shaw studios, then these guys were definitely in high demand at Seasonal Films, (and the other Independent film companies that they worked for). Their choreography was always top-notched, and the action was always off-the-wall as they gave fans some of the best choreography imaginable. They've worked with just about everybody whose anybody, in the kung-fu genre and if they couldn't make a star out of you, then you just weren't meant to be a star.

People like Jackie Chan (Snake In The Eagle's Shadow, Drunken Master), Billy Chong (Crystal Fist, to Donnie Yen (Drunken Tai-Chi, Tiger Cage) have had career-changing films helmed by these guys. It wasn't unusual to have them appear in films along with the stars that they've helped to make household names - John Liu (Secret Rivals 2, Invincible Armor) or Jet Li (Once Upon a Time in China, Tai-Chi Master), thus bringing kung-fu choreography well into the 21st century.

They've given us excellent movies, whether they're performing in front or behind the camera, they are some of the best in the business at what they do. While the action is the key, in most of their films, there has never been a short supply of that. And now with the brothers working on such films as The Matrix series, Charlie's Angels series, and Daredevil it's safe to say that they have helped to keep hope alive for diehard kung-fu fans.
