He is an exceptional talent with pretty good acting skills. Almost showing up veteran actor
John Liu , when they appeared together in Instant Kung Fu Man, where he played in a dual role as "Twins". I thought he did a good job in the kung-fu classic Snuff-Bottle Connection, acting as well as fighting. He seems to like playing in films with the "Lord of the Legs" -
Wang Jang-Li , teaming up with him again in the awesome kung-fu classic Hell's Wind Staff, co-starring
Meng Yuen-Men and
Meng Hoi.
His acting, along with his kung-fu skills are far better that a lot of actors who've probably graced the screen more than he has. In Shanghi 13, he (just like everyone else), got to display his skills with minimum screen-time, I thought he was totally wasted in the excellent Along Comes A Tiger, walking around and carrying a "Water Bowl" for
Kao Fei to clean his hands after each fight. With skills such as his, he would have been an asset to the action, had he been given a much bigger role in the film. If anything else, he could have provided another intense fight scene.
